Tech company By OnePlus A new smartphone has been launched in China on Tuesday. The latest edition of the company’s flagship lineup has been launched with the name OnePlus 15T. This new smartphone launched by the company has an octa-core Snapdragon 8 series chipset. The company has launched this smartphone in the premium range. The features and specifications of this device are also strong.

OnePlus 15T price and availability

The base variant of OnePlus 15T with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 4,299 which is around Rs 58,000. Also, the 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 4,899 i.e. around Rs 67,000, the 16GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 4,599 i.e. around Rs 63,000 and the 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 5,199 i.e. around Rs 71,000. The top variant with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage has been priced at CNY 5,699 which is around Rs 78,000.

This new OnePlus smartphone will go on sale in China on March 25th from 10:00 am local time i.e. 7:30 am Indian time on the Oppo China online store. OnePlus 15T specifications and features

The OnePlus 15T is a dual-SIM smartphone, running on Oppo’s Android 16-based ColorOS 16. The smartphone features a 6.32-inch full HD+ (1,216×2,640 pixels) AMOLED display, which offers a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits and a pixel density of 460 ppi. Peak refresh rate is only available in the six supported categories of mobile games. As for the screen, it is claimed to have TUV Rheinland Smart Eye Protection 5.0 and Low Blue Light certifications. OnePlus claims that the smartphone has an IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rating for protection against water and dust. The new smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship 3nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The processor is part of the company’s exclusive ‘e-Sports Triple-Core’, which also includes a ‘Lingxi’ (translated from Chinese) touch response chip and OnePlus’ G2 Wi-Fi chip. The smartphone also features the next generation ‘Wind Changer Gaming’ kernel for better gaming performance. The company claims that the phone has scored over 44,50,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform. The smartphone also offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 onboard storage.

The OnePlus 15T features a dual rear camera unit with Oppo’s LUMO imaging engine. It has a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary shooter with Sony Ultra Vision sensor. The device also features a 50-megapixel (f/2.4) periscope telephoto rear camera with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 7x lossless digital zoom capacity.

The smartphone has a 16-megapixel (f/2.4) camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is backed by a 7,500mAh battery with 100W SuperWook wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. For connectivity, the phone also supports 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo and QZSS. It has proximity sensor, orientation sensor, light sensor, gravity sensor and altitude sensor. Also, there are several onboard sensors like in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security.
