IPL 2026: Lucknow Super Giants owner’s ultimatum to Rishabh Pant

The pressure on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant has increased before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. Team owner Sanjeev Goenka has given a clear ultimatum that just making it to the playoffs will not be enough, the team will have to win the title to gain respect and recognition. He said, "Until you win, you don't get the respect and love that comes with winning a trophy. We have qualified for the playoffs twice but that is clearly not enough. We have to win our first trophy."
