Badshah shared a long and personal note on his Instagram Stories after his London concert and it was clear that the past few weeks had taken a real toll on him. He wrote about how things look very different from the outside and how much you carry internally when nobody is watching. The Tateeree controversy had been building since the song dropped on March 1, 2026, with a lot of people taking issue with the lyrics and visuals. Things got more serious when a complaint was filed in Panchkula on March 6 and the matter moved into legal territory.

Soon after, Haryana Police stepped in and worked with social media platforms to take down several links related to the song. Badshah had already issued a public apology and confirmed the official video had been taken down, but the fallout continued.

All of this while reports of his wedding with Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi were also making headlines, making it an exceptionally eventful period for the rapper on both the professional and personal fronts.
