New Delhi. The Special Staff Team of South-East District Police has arrested five accused, disclosing a sensational case of kidnapping and robbery in Kalkaji police station area. In this action, the police have recovered two cars, five mobile phones used in the crime and also scrutinized the information about the transactions done in the bank accounts of the accused. According to the police, on March 25, 2026, the victim Anurag Narula was contacted by a profile named ‘Sherry’ through a dating app “3F”. He was called to Nehru Place for a meeting, where on reaching, three youths present with the woman attacked him and forcibly made him sit in a car.

The accused strangulated the victim unconscious and after scaring him, they got him to transfer around Rs 7 lakh through UPI, ATM and credit card. Later he was threatened and left in Nehru Place area. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police took immediate action and formed a special team. This team was led by Inspector R.S. Dagar and included many experienced officers. During the investigation, the police analyzed CCTV footage, call detail records (CDR), OSINT inputs, ANPR and Fastag data, on the basis of which the suspicious vehicles and the accused were identified. After this, the police raided several places simultaneously.

During the action, accused Rishabh Raghav was caught along with a car. Based on information received during interrogation, other accused—Nabojit Dey, Sanjay alias Joy and Harleen Kaur alias Jenny were arrested from Malviya Nagar area. Along with them, another accused Sahil Chauhan was also taken into custody. During interrogation, it was revealed that Harleen Kaur used to trap people through dating app. After calling him to meet at a fixed time and place, his associates used to rob the victims. This gang used to carry out crimes in a planned manner.

Among the arrested accused, Nabojit Dey is a gym trainer, while his brother Sanjay is pursuing veterinary diploma. Rishabh is a cab driver by profession and Harleen Kaur was mainly involved in trapping people in this gang. No criminal record of all the accused has been revealed so far. Police said that further investigation in this case is going on and other possible victims and networks are also being investigated. With this action, the police exposed a big gang and advised people to be cautious on online platforms.
