Rajasthan Board: Following the pattern of the CBSE, board examinations in Rajasthan will now also be conducted twice a year. Education Minister Madan Dilawar personally made this announcement. Speaking yesterday, following the release of the Class 12 results, the Education Minister stated that—commencing with the new academic session—board examinations would be held twice annually.
An official notice regarding the conduct of examinations twice a year has been issued by the Rajasthan Board. The Education Minister remarked that holding examinations twice a year would alleviate mental pressure on students and provide them with an opportunity for improvement. For your information, it is worth noting that the CBSE Board’s Class 10 examinations are also being conducted twice a year, effective from 2026.
Results Released in March for the First Time Since Independence
Education Minister Madan Dilawar further added that the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has released the results for all streams of Class 12 during the month of March. This marks a historic first—never before have the results been declared in the month of March. He attributed this success to the collective efforts of both teachers and students. Furthermore, he noted that the Education Department and the Board had undertaken concerted efforts to ensure greater transparency in this year’s examinations.
Textbooks to Reach Every Child on Time
The Education Minister stated that the Education Department is actively engaged in ensuring that textbooks reach every child in a timely manner. Orders regarding preparations for the distribution of textbooks to all schools were issued by the Education Minister as early as March. Additionally, funds for school uniforms are being transferred directly into students’ bank accounts via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
