'I'm giving my toddler £2,000 in cash for Easter – my other kids can sort themselves out'

A mother has announced that her youngest child will receive a staggering £2,000 in cash along with other treats this Easter. Carla Bellucci, 44, says her older children, Tanisha, 20, and Jayden, 19, will need to fend for themselves when it comes to holiday gifts.

The former glamour model from Hertfordshire insists she “doesn’t care” if her decision seems unfair, claiming it teaches a “harsh lesson in the reality of life.”

“They’re too old now and have their own cash,” she told creatorzine.com. “I think if they make their own money, then why should I have to spend my hard-earned pennies on treating them?

“If anything, it should be the other way around, as I have done a lot for them. I can’t think of any reason why they’d deserve the same treatment.

“Some people say I’m being unfair, but Blu is young. They both had it all when they were young.”

Carla’s Easter celebrations are usually extravagant. Last year, she hosted a £5,000 party complete with gifts worth up to £500 each and a £1,000 Easter egg prize.

The 40-person gathering reportedly angered neighbours due to the noise, leaving her determined to keep the 2026 festivities low-key.

Even with a smaller, quieter celebration, Carla’s generosity won’t be reduced. Previously, she gifted all her children laptops worth £600, and took Blu on a Disneyland Paris trip.

This year, the focus is entirely on her three-year-old. She said: “I’m going to do an Easter egg hunt for Blu only. In the eggs, there’ll be cash totalling £2,000 for her to spend on whatever she wants. Not only that, I’ll be hiding an iPad.

“I’ve also got her a few dolls and a trip to Universal Studios in Florida that we’re travelling to in November. I’m going to hire the Easter bunny out, too.

“People can say I’m spoiling her all they want but I’m not raising a brat. She’s a lovely girl with such a sweet heart and deserves the world. If I can give it to her, why shouldn’t I? Other mums are only mad at me because they can’t afford to.”

This announcement comes just weeks after Carla revealed she “expected at least” £500 from each of her children for Mother’s Day. Last year, she requested a Gucci cap worth around £400, along with a “slap-up meal with champagne” from her four children.

Speaking to What’s The Jam , she said: “I want £500 from each child in cold hard cash. I need the money so I can put it towards fixing my face.”

Carla also instructed Tanisha to organise a series of surprise treats on. So far, she has arranged a fine-dining experience at a top London restaurant and a luxurious afternoon tea at The Shard.
