CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026: If your dream is to join the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), here is an opportunity for you. The CRPF has announced recruitment for 9,175 posts of Constable (Technical and Tradesman). The prescribed educational qualification for these posts is a 10th-grade pass.

A significant highlight of this recruitment drive is that a substantial number of seats have been reserved for the youth of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bihar. According to the official notification, there are 1,215 vacancies for candidates from UP and 694 vacancies for those from Bihar. This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates. The application process for this CRPF recruitment will commence on April 20. The deadline for submitting the application forms is May 19.

**Educational Qualifications**

Candidates must have passed the 10th grade from any recognized board. Additionally, they must possess an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in the specific trade for which they are applying, or demonstrate proficiency in that trade. Candidates applying for the Driver post are required to hold a Heavy Driving License. For the Motor Mechanic post, candidates must have passed the 10th grade and completed a two-year ITI course in the relevant trade, or completed a three-year apprenticeship along with one year of work experience.

**Age Limit**

For the post of Constable (Driver), the age limit is 21 to 27 years. However, for the posts of Constable (Motor Mechanic/Cobbler/Carpenter/Tailor/Brass Band/Pipe Band/Gardener/Bugler/Painter/Cook/Barber-cum-Hairdresser/Washerman [Male & Female]/Water Carrier/Safai Karamchari [Sanitation Worker]/Mason/Plumber/Electrician), the age limit is 18 to 23 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules.

**Selection Process**

The selection process for this CRPF Constable recruitment will begin with a Computer-Based Online Test (CBT). This will be followed by a Physical Standard Test (PST) and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Subsequently, a Trade Test and Document Verification will be conducted, culminating in a Medical Examination. The physical standards required are as follows:

**What is the Salary?** CRPF Constables (Technical and Tradesmen) will receive a salary in accordance with Pay Scale-3 (₹ 21,700 – ₹ 69,100).
