After The PittFiona Dourif takes on a chilling new role in A Head Full of Ghostsstarring alongside the Stranger Things alum David Harbour as worried parents confronting their 14-year-old daughter’s disturbing behavior.
Adapted from Paul Tremblay’s 2015 novel, the upcoming movie centers on a suburban family thrown into turmoil by the disturbing and unpredictable behavior of teenager Marjorie.
Convinced their daughter is possessed, the Barretts allow her story to unfold on a reality show.
“Fifteen years later, her sister Merry faces her family’s haunting past with a journalist, uncovering the very nature of the evil that destroyed them,” the synopsis of the film read.
Variety reported that Fiona Dourif and David Harbour are joined by Hollie Hill-Pearson and Esmé Creed-Miles, cast as Merry at different stages of her life.
The cast includes Bodhi Rae Breathnach as Marjorie, alongside Rebecca Hall in a supporting role.
Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan Downey are producing under the Team Downey banner, alongside The Allegiance Theater and Fifth Season.
Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala take on both writing and directing duties for the project.
