Natalie Portman has a baby on the way! The actress is pregnant with her third child, her first with partner Tanguy Destable .

The 44-year-old actress confirmed the news in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, "Tanguy and I are very excited. I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle."

News of Portman's pregnancy comes days after the actress was spotted out and about, debuting her baby bump. The actress was spotted by paaprazzi with what looked like a bump, shielded under large jackets. Portman has also been spotted out with Destable, hiding her baby bump under thick woollen sweaters.







Portman’s relationship with Destable was first confirmed in March 2025, after the pair were linked by French outlet Voici. The actress is already a mother to two. She shares son Aleph, 14, and daughter Amalia, 9, with ex-husband, Benjamin Millepied. News of her pregnancy comes a year after she finalised her divorce from the director-choreographer.

While she has largely kept her children out of the public spotlight, Portman has occasionally spoken about their influence on her career choices. The ' Thor: Love and Thunder ' star revealed that they encouraged her to take on the role of Mighty Thor. “I feel like it's the phase of my career where I'm really trying to just impress my kids,” she told Variety in June 2022.

In a separate conversation with Jenna Ortega for Interview Magazine, the actress emphasised her efforts to maintain her children’s privacy. “I’m not a particularly private person in real life - I’ll tell you anything - but in public, it was so clear early on that if you tell people how private you are, your privacy gets respected a lot more,” she explained. “I set up a little bit of a barrier to be like, ‘I’m not going to do photo shoots with my kids.’”

The actress has not yet shared further details about her pregnancy or about when the baby is due.

On the work front, Portman will be seen in the 2026 dark comedy 'The Gallerist'. She is also starring in and producing the thriller 'Photograph 51'.
