Fans of I'm a Celebrity have angrily threatened to stop watching the ITV show. It comes as they fear that Gemma Collins may walk from the South Africa spin off - after she lasted just days in her original stint in the jungle.

As another episode hit the air on Friday evening, fans were outraged just moments in. The previous night's episode hinted that she may be looking to say her goodbyes as she warned producers: "I'm A Celebrity get me out of here. I am done." Tonight, fans tuned in awaiting the outcome of her words. Seconds into the show starting, fans took to social media to share complaints. Posting to X/Twitter, one said: "The way if Gemma leaves tonight I will not be finishing this series x #imaceleb." One more echoed: "If Gemma leaves for real I'm not watching the rest of the season #ImACeleb."

One more said: "However how much @ITV paid Gemma Collins to take part in @imacelebrity they should ask for it back, if she does indeed walk out....again! #ImACeleb."

Others have praised her close friendship with Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas and want to see more of both of them when they leave the show.

Someone wrote: "Need Channel 4 to bring back Celebrity Coach Trip and get Gemma and Adam on it #ImACeleb."

Another said: "Adam and Gemma is one of those friendships that you wouldn't expect yet they get along like a house on fire #ImACeleb."

Tonight the show expanded on why Gemma thought she had had enough. It was revealed as one massive wind up. Harry Redknapp told his campmates that they would be going into a prison themed task.

As soon as Gemma said that she was "done" he decided to give up the gig as he burst out laughing and revealed that he was winding them all up.

Gemma's tears soon turned to laughter as everyone joined in on the jokes. "They fell for it, hook line and sinker," Harry said.
