PM Modi Holds CCS Meeting Today: The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting is going to be held in Delhi today under the chairmanship of PM Narendra Modi. In this meeting the steps taken by various ministries and departments will be reviewed. Along with this, PM Modi is also going to address the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) and the Cabinet meeting in the Parliament.

According to the information, the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) in the national capital will begin at 11:30 am on Saturday. Earlier, on April 1, PM Modi had chaired a special meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security and discussed further steps to be taken in the context of the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
According to an official release, the Cabinet Secretary gave a briefing on measures to ensure the supply of petroleum products—especially LNG and LPG—as well as the availability of adequate power. The PM took stock of the availability of essential resources for the general public. He discussed the availability of fertilizer in the country and steps to ensure its supply during Kharif and Rabi seasons.
The situation in West Asia worsened after the joint US and Israeli military attack on Iranian territory on 28 February; The attack killed Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and other senior figures. In response, Tehran gave a strong reaction.
