Mahindra is one of the leading SUV manufacturers in India, and like most brands, it has started moving toward electric vehicles. The company already has a couple of EVs in its lineup and plans to expand further in the coming years to keep up with growing competition. Here is a list of four such Mahindra electric SUVs that are expected to launch in the market soon.
At the time of the XEV 9E launch, Mahindra announced that the new 70 kWh battery pack introduced in the larger EV would also make its way to the BE 6. This variant will look similar to the existing versions on the outside and will continue to offer the same premium features.
This battery pack will sit between the existing 59 kWh and 79 kWh options and is expected to offer a claimed range of around 600 km, along with 242 bhp and 380 Nm of torque.
Following the BE 6, Mahindra is also expected to introduce the 70 kWh battery pack in the XEV 9E. It will likely deliver similar power and torque figures, along with a comparable driving range.

By introducing this additional battery option, Mahindra will be able to offer more flexibility in terms of variants and pricing. This could also help position the XEV 9E more competitively in an increasingly crowded EV market.
The BE 07 will be another addition to Mahindra’s electric lineup and was one of the concepts showcased a few years ago.
Mahindra has already started testing this upcoming EV, and it has been spotted with heavy camouflage. The production version is expected to stay close to the concept design.

The BE 07 appears to be a mid-size electric SUV that will rival models like the Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Suzuki eVitara, and Toyota’s upcoming EVs. Compared to rivals like the Creta Electric, the BE 07 is expected to be larger in dimensions, offering better space and a longer wheelbase.
It is likely to come loaded with premium features, similar to Mahindra’s current EV lineup. Mahindra is expected to price it competitively and may offer it with 59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh battery pack options.
Mahindra showcased the Vision S EV last year. During the event, the company mentioned that all its new concepts are based on the NU-IQ platform – a modular, multi-energy monocoque architecture designed to support both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles. This platform represents the next phase of Mahindra’s SUV strategy.
Test mules of the Vision S have already been spotted on Indian roads. The model is expected to launch first as an ICE vehicle with turbo petrol and diesel engine options, paired with both manual and automatic transmissions.
After the ICE version, Mahindra is expected to introduce an electric version of the Vision S. It is likely to be a sub-4-metre SUV and could eventually replace the XUV 3XO EV, which has been on sale for some time. Like other Mahindra EVs, it is expected to offer a practical battery size, decent driving range, and competitive pricing.
