Hyderabad: Light to moderate rain and thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, gusty winds (40-50 kmph) and hailstorm is very likely to occur at many places in Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Sangareddy, Medak, Peddapally, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy districts, India Meteorological Department said.
Storm clouds have begun forming in south, central Telangana after morning rains in the North and scattered intense thunderstorms are likely on Tuesday during the evening, weather blogger T Balaji said.

Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) MD Prakhar Jain stated that heat, winds, and heatwaves are having a severe impact in the state. There is a possibility of severe winds in 46 mandals, winds in 29 mandals, and winds in 54 mandals throughout, with severe winds in 15 mandals. Advising people to take necessary precautions as maximum temperatures are being recorded.
Maximum temperatures of 44.2°C in Makkuva (Manyam District) and 43.9°C in Chippagiri (Kurnool District) were recorded on Monday. It was further revealed that temperatures exceeding 40°C were recorded in 289 mandals.
A trough/wind discontinuity runs from Telangana to Comorin area across Rayalaseema and Interior North Tamilnadu and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level, IMD Amaravati said in its inference.
In Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, winds are blowing from the south and southwest directions in the lower troposphere.
Light to moderate rain and thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and strong winds (speed of 30-40 kmph) are likely to occur at some places in Coastal AP, Yanam, Rayalaseema. Hot, humid, and uncomfortable weather conditions are likely to prevail in several places.
