In a surprising turn of events in Ghattampur, Kanpur, a newlywed bride has left her husband in shock just a month after their wedding. The wife cleverly tricked her husband into thinking she was going to visit the Kudni temple, only to escape while he was sent away to fetch a friend.
The husband, who had come to the temple in the Sadh area, reported that his wife vanished with jewelry worth six lakhs and one lakh in cash. He explained that she deceived him into going to pick up her friend, but when he returned, she was nowhere to be found.
The couple had tied the knot on March 14, and the bride hails from the Bindki police station area in Fatehpur. On the morning of the incident, around 6:30 AM, she had insisted on visiting the temple.
At the temple, she claimed her friend was waiting at the Kudni intersection. Following her instructions, the husband went to the intersection to find no one there, and upon returning, his wife had also disappeared. Despite searching the area and the temple, he could not locate her, and her phone was switched off.
According to the husband, his wife left home with jewelry valued at six lakhs and one lakh in cash. He subsequently filed a written complaint with the local police. During their investigation, the police discovered that she was captured on CCTV leaving in a loader. Station Officer Krishna Kumar Mishra confirmed that a missing person report has been filed, and efforts to locate her are ongoing.
