During a rally in West Bengal, TMC MP Mahua Moitra criticized Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for misquoting a famous saying, referring to him as 'Bulldozer Intelligence.' This sparked a response from Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, who remarked that only those who change their names have their names altered. Yadav's comment appears to be a sharp critique of the name changes of places and institutions under Adityanath's administration.

In her post, Moitra directly addressed Adityanath, stating, "Hello, Bulldozer Intelligence Yogi Adityanath, get your facts straight. It was Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose who said, 'Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom.' Swami Vivekananda did not say that. Please continue drinking Fanta in Uttar Pradesh and leave Bengal alone. You are a joke." A video showcasing Adityanath's misattribution of the quote to Swami Vivekananda was shared on TMC's official social media account.

The video pointed out that Yogi Adityanath has once again revealed the BJP's profound ignorance and disrespect towards Bengal's history. He incorrectly attributed the iconic phrase 'Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom' to Swami Vivekananda, while it actually belongs to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The post on social media further emphasized the stark differences between these two prominent figures, both of whom are celebrated sons of Bengal. It criticized the BJP for failing to distinguish between them, misquoting them, and even adorning Swami Vivekananda's statue while mistakenly referring to him as Netaji. The depth of their ignorance is matched only by their arrogance.
