The composer added, “So during Dude movie’s production, new ideas were discussed between director Keerthiswaran and I for the film, and we agreed on going away from the ‘usual way’. I am glad that he supported that vision. Once it happened, there was a conversation about the song. People who liked it and even those with mixed opinions about it started listening to it more and more, which built a conversation around the song that helped make it viral.”
Sai Abhyankkar also clarified the rumour about him being launched as a hero by AGS Entertainment. He said that it’s just a speculation that came about after he signed a contract with the studio for one of its upcoming projects’ music.
The Suriya-starrer Karuppu is set for its theatrical release on May 14, Thursday. The film also stars Trisha, Swasika, Natty, Sshivadha, Indrans, Mansoor Ali Khan, Supreeth Reddy, and Anagha Maya Ravi, among others.
