Ranbir Kapoor wants to be very careful while making a decision for his next film.
Presently, the 43-year-old is busy working on Love and War and Ramayana. The shoot is scheduled to wrap up in October 2026.
The This young man is a goddess actor wishes to do one more film before he starts filming Sandeep Vanga’s Animal Park in late 2027.
According to the sources, Kapoor is actively reading scripts out of which one is Dhoom 4 backed by Yash Raj Studios and the other is Brahmastra 2directed by Ayan Mukerji.
pinkvilla reported, “Ranbir has heard the ideas for both Brahmastra 2 and Dhoom 4, and has liked the worlds being created in each of them. However, he is awaiting bound scripts before making a final decision.”
Dhoom 4 is in the early stages as the studio is eyeing the right director for it. Meanwhile, Brahmastra 2 is also facing casting hurdles.
Supposedly, Deepika Padukone was going to play Amrita alongside Ranbir’s character Dev, but after she announced her second pregnancy, the makers are now looking for a casting change.
Sorces revealed, “Among Dhoom 4 and Brahmastra 2, right now Brahmastra is in the forefront to be his next film. But as we know, things don’t take time to turn in Bollywood, and several factors need to align for Brahmastra 2 to go on floors.”
Ranbir’s Love and War and Ramayana is slated to release in August and November respectively.
