A 37-year-old divorced man, an IIT graduate and director at a billion-dollar company, reportedly demanded a 'virgin' Brahmin woman under the age of 30. His other demands included that the woman should be single and have never been in a relationship. It was shared by matchmaker and dating coach Oendrila Kapoor on Instagram and has sparked a massive debate on social media.

According to Oendrila Kapoor, the man further claimed that he had read “somewhere in a research”, that “the more number of partners a woman has had, is directly proportional to her chances of being unfaithful in the future,” which is why he wanted a “virgin” bride.
Oendrila revealed that the 37-year-old divorced man was an IIT graduate and held a director’s role at a billion-dollar company. However, despite his impressive profile, his expectations for choosing a bride appeared outdated.
“He's 37, divorced, an IITian, and he told me he wants someone under 30, never been married, in fact, never even been in a relationship, and she should be a Brahmin.”
When the man reportedly said that if a woman has more partners, then chances of being unfaithful in the future are high, Oendrila pointed out that this logic must also apply to him, as he was married before. But he countered, saying he was a man and it wasn't a fair comparison.
“He’s 37. Divorced. Brahmin. Director of a successful company. And he wants a woman with no past. Under 30. Never married. Virgin. Same caste. Said it with a straight face. When I asked him why his past doesn’t count the same way, he said– Because I’m a man. He even mentioned research about women and loyalty. Couldn’t name it. But was very sure it existed. So I asked him something simple. The woman you’re describing do you think her family is going to be okay with a 37-year-old divorced man?” the post read.
“He hadn’t thought about that. And that’s the part most people miss. It’s not just about what you want. It’s about whether what you want would ever want you back. Because this isn’t a preference. It’s a double standard. He wasn’t looking for compatibility. He was looking for a guarantee. A guarantee that she had no past. No history. Nothing before him. But that’s not how real relationships work. A woman’s past doesn’t decide her loyalty. Her character does. Her values do. How she shows up, every single day, does. Preferences are valid. Double standards aren’t,” the post continued.

Divorced IIT graduate demands' fumes internet
Oendrila Kapoor recalled an instance where a 37-year-old divorced man approached her matchmaking platform to help him find a partner. His demands were bizarre: the partner should be below 30, a Brahmin, unmarried and has zero body count or past". The story shocked her and led to her dating platform rejecting his profile.ALSO READ: 'Get out of here, what is wrong with you?': Mumbai woman berates BJP minister Girish Mahajan at Jan Aakrosh rally. Getting offers from match making platforms
The man also boasted that he was getting offers from online matchmaking platforms, but still wanted someone to “vet and verify” the offers, as such sites are “full of scams”. “I don’t trust these platforms as there are scams and frauds happening on these sites, so I need somebody to vet and verify these profiles for me,” the man had said.“He’s 37.
