He explained that a Dalit settlement is different from a village and its lifestyle is also different. He also revealed that even today he is not allowed to enter the village temple. The actor also shared his childhood experiences with festivals and explained that for him, festivals used to bring sadness instead of joy. He said that when Diwali and other festivals come, he wonders why these festivals are coming. The situation at home was not such that he could celebrate festivals like others. He said that during festivals his parents also felt sad and sometimes even cried. According to him, happiness for him is just watching others from a distance.

The actor, who starred in Prime Video’s most-watched series ‘Panchayat’, added that he did many odd jobs as a child to support his family. Initially, he worked as a liftman, earning him only ₹1,600 a month. He then worked in a construction office as an office boy and later as a security guard. He said that at that time he just wanted to provide for his family, so he did whatever work he could get. Life was tough, but he never gave up.
