Ibrahim's work front
Ibrahim, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, first appeared on screen as a child artist in Tashan (2008). He later worked behind the scenes as an assistant director on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar and starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. He made his acting debut in the Netflix rom-com Nadaaniyan, where he played Arjun Mehta, a middle-class student who gets into a fake relationship for money. People online didn't like the movie, and both of the main actors got a lot of criticism for their performances.
He followed it up with Sarzameen, featuring Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran as his parents. Ibrahim played Harman Menon, a young man with a troubled past who is drawn into extremism. Despite the buzz around the project, it too received a mixed-to-negative response. He also made a brief appearance in The Ba***ds of Bollywood, the directorial debut of Aryan Khan. Up next, Ibrahim is expected to make his theatrical debut with the sports drama Diler, directed by Kunal Deshmukh and Sonali Rattan Deshmukh. The film is also said to feature Sreeleela, though its release date is yet to be announced.
