UP Board 12th Result 2026 announced: The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) on Thursday released the results for the 12th board exam. The board released the results in a press conference this evening. As per the board, 90.42 percent of students cleared the board exam this year. According to the board, Shikha Verma topped the UP Board 12th exam this year. She scored 97.60 per cent. Nandani Gupta and Shreya Verma secured the second position with 97.20 per cent each. Surbhi Yadav and Pooja Pal stood third with 97.00 per cent.
As per official data, the overall pass percentage for the Intermediate examination stood at 80.38 per cent. A total of 24,86,072 students appeared for the exam, out of which 19,98,317 candidates successfully cleared it.
Girls outperformed boysGirls once again outperformed boys in the examination. The pass percentage among girls was recorded at 86.32 per cent, significantly higher than boys, whose pass percentage stood at 75.04 per cent.Among different categories, institutional candidates registered a pass percentage of 80.47 per cent, while private candidates recorded 77.54 per cent.
UP CM congratulates studentsUttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the students on their performance.
