A golden opportunity has arisen for young aspirants preparing for government jobs. The SSC has announced recruitment for Stenographer Grade 'C' and Grade 'D' posts. To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have passed the 12th grade (Intermediate) from a recognized board. It is also considered essential for candidates to possess basic knowledge of stenography and typing.
For this recruitment drive, the age limit for Grade 'C' posts is set between 18 and 30 years. Meanwhile, for Grade 'D' posts, the age limit is fixed at 18 to 27 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation as per government rules.
Selected candidates for Grade 'C' posts will receive a salary ranging from ₹9,300 to ₹34,800. For Grade 'D' posts, the salary offered will range from ₹5,200 to ₹20,200. In addition to this, candidates will also be entitled to other government allowances and benefits.
The selection process for candidates will commence with a Computer-Based Examination. Subsequently, successful candidates will be required to undergo a Skill Test. In the final stage, appointments will be granted following document verification.
Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹100. However, the application process is free of cost for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), and female categories. The application fee must be paid through online modes.
Candidates can apply by visiting the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in. First, candidates must register themselves; thereafter, they need to log in and fill out the application form. After uploading the necessary documents and depositing the application fee, the form must be submitted.
