What are the Eligibility Criteria for an RBI Grade B Officer?
For the RBI Grade B Officer positions, specific eligibility criteria have been prescribed based on the respective departments. For the Grade B (General) category, candidates must hold a Graduation degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks and a Post-Graduation degree with a minimum of 55% marks. For the Grade B (DR)-DPER position, candidates must hold a Master's degree in Economics or Finance with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. Conversely, for the Grade B (DR)-DISM post, candidates must possess a Master's degree or have completed a minimum 4-year undergraduate program in Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science. **RBI Grade B Officer: Age Limit and Selection Process**
**Age Limit:** Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and not exceed 30 years of age. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with applicable regulations.
**Selection Process:** Candidates for the Grade B Officer position will be selected through a multi-stage process comprising Preliminary, Main, and Interview rounds. The final list of selected candidates will be compiled based on their performance in Phase II (i.e., the Main examination) and the Interview. The Preliminary examination will feature questions covering General Awareness (GA), Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and Reasoning Ability. The Main examination will consist of Paper I (Economics and Social Issues), Paper II (English), and Paper III (Finance and Management).
Each of these papers/sections will have a distinct duration.
The advertisement for the RBI Grade B Officer recruitment has currently been published in the *Employment News* newspaper. The Bank is expected to release the detailed advertisement on its official website—opportunities.rbi.org.in—very soon.
