Bhooth Bangla worldwide box office collection:Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is making waves at the box office. The film is still standing at the box office on the 13th day of its release and is printing a lot of notes. The film, which was released two weeks ago, crossed the ₹200 crore mark worldwide and achieved a big milestone. The film has achieved this feat on the basis of strong opening and stable earnings of the second week.

One of the major reasons for the popularity of this horror-comedy film is the new pairing of Akshay Kumar and Vamika Gabbi, who are seen together on the big screen for the first time in ‘Bhoot Bangla’. The chemistry of both is being liked a lot by the audience.

‘Bhoot Bangla’ earned this much on the 13th day
Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ was released in theaters on April 17, a night before which paid previews of the film were shown. The horror-comedy film grossed ₹58 crore nett in India in its first weekend, and reached ₹100 crore on its second Saturday.

After a good performance in the second weekend, there was a slight decline in its earnings on Monday, but the film again picked up a decent pace on Tuesday. On Wednesday, it earned ₹3.50 crore nett in the country, taking its box office collection in India to ₹124.50 crore nett (₹147.90 crore gross). There should be some growth in the film’s collections in the third weekend, but new releases like The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Raja Shivaji may hurt its chances.

‘Bhoot Bangla’ is creating havoc in foreign countries too
Bhoot Bangla has also performed well abroad. After a decent start in paid previews and opening day, it made $1 million in international territories on the second and third days. After 13 days, the film’s overseas gross stands at $5.6 million. As of now, the film has almost taken a hit overseas. Its daily earnings in the international market have fallen below $80K. Still, it will aim to cross $6 million before succumbing. The film’s worldwide gross has now reached ₹200 crore.

This will make Bhoot Bangla only the third Hindi film and the sixth Indian film overall to cross this milestone in 2026. This horror-comedy will soon try to surpass Prabhas’s ‘The Rajasaab’ (₹208 crore).

Records of ‘Stree’ and ‘Thamma’ broken
With a worldwide gross of ₹200 crore, Bhoot Bangla is not only the third-highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, but also the fourth-highest-grossing horror-comedy in the history of Bollywood. In its second week, the film overtook some of the big recent Bollywood releases like Salman Khan’s ‘Sikander’ (₹176 crore). But its biggest success has been its performance against fellow horror-comedies.

After beating Bhediya and Munjya in the first week itself, Bhoot Bangla overtook the final collections of Maddock’s other two hits – Thamma (₹171 crore) and Stree (₹180 crore) – in the second week. In the list of highest-grossing horror comedies of Hindi cinema, Bhoot Bangla is now behind only Stree 2 (₹875 crore), Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (₹424 crore), and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (₹266 crore). Whether it makes it to the top 3 or not depends on how it performs in its third weekend.
