According to the Vedic *Panchang* (almanac), the *Amavasya* Tithi of the month of *Jyeshtha*—marking the time for the Vat Savitri Vrat—begins on May 16th at 5:11 AM. This Tithi concludes late at night on May 17th at 1:30 AM. Consequently, based on the *Udayatithi* (the Tithi prevailing at sunrise), the Vat Savitri Vrat will be observed on Saturday, May 16th.

**Vat Savitri Vrat during *Saubhagya Yoga***
On May 16th, the day of the Vat Savitri Vrat, the auspicious *Saubhagya Yoga* and *Shobhana Yoga* will be in effect. The *Saubhagya Yoga* is known to enhance happiness and good fortune. Since the Vat Savitri Vrat itself is dedicated to attaining eternal marital bliss (*Akhand Saubhagya*), performing the worship rituals during this *Saubhagya Yoga* is considered highly auspicious and fruitful. On the day of the Vat Savitri Vrat, the *Saubhagya Yoga* will prevail from early morning until 10:26 AM. Following that, the *Shobhana Yoga* will commence. Furthermore, on the day of the Vat Savitri Vrat, the *Bharani Nakshatra* will prevail from early morning until 5:30 PM, after which the *Krittika Nakshatra* will take over.
