Over a year after India’s Got Latent controversy, Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia have come together again on The Great Indian Kapil Show, hosted by Kapil Sharma.

While the full episode is scheduled to stream tonight (May 2) at 8 PM, the recently released promo has already generated buzz among fans. The teaser captures a lively exchange between Samay and Ranveer, with Kapil playfully roasting Ranveer over last year’s controversy.

Adding to the fun, Navjot Singh Sidhu is seen enjoying Samay’s sharp wit and spontaneous humour, even embracing him and calling him “absolutely brilliant,” hinting at an entertaining episode ahead.

In the upcoming episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Ranveer Allahbadia is seen praising Samay Raina, saying, “He has a very pure heart, and people should know that.”

Host Kapil Sharma, known for his quick humour, didn’t miss the opportunity to add a punchline. He responded, “Haa, nahi toh aap kisika show band kara do, fir bhi aapko zinda chhod de, toh dil saaf hi hoga uska (Yes, otherwise if you ruin someone’s show but they still let you live, that person must have a pure heart),” referencing the controversy around India’s Got Latent that sparked widespread backlash last year.

The banter continued as Ranveer shared, “In the last year or so, our friendship has deepened a lot," prompting a witty response from Samay, “Aisa isko lagta hai. Wo sach hai. (This is what he thinks. It’s true).” Kapil jumped in again, joking that the bond was inevitable since both had found themselves in the same situation during the controversy, keeping the tone light and humorous throughout.

Continuing the fun banter on The Great Indian Kapil Show, Samay Raina delivered another hilarious punchline, saying, “It was always a dream ki ek din aap log ke saath TV pe aau. Mujhe kabhi nahi laga tha aap log khud OTT pe aajayenge ek din. (It was always a dream to be on TV with you guys. I never thought you all would come to OTT one day)," leaving everyone in splits.

Samay also took a moment to express his admiration for Navjot Singh Sidhu and Archana Puran Singh. In response, Sidhu offered him a philosophical piece of advice: “Beta, bhagwaan agar ek darwaaza band karta hai toh 10 khidkiyaan kholta hai. Tu khidki dekhne wala ban.
