Despite a promising start, Suryakumar Yadav went back to dug out after being dismissed by Ramakrishna Ghosh for 21 runs on saturday’s clash.

The Mumbai Indians did not capitalise on the innings, losing three wickets at regular intervals during the IPL 2026 game against Chennai Super Kings on May 02 at Chennai.

With Ryan Rickelton and Naman Dhir at crease, Mumbai Indians went on to score 57 runs in the powerplay. The duo made a 58-run partnership for the second wicket.

Noor Ahmad who introduced to bowling after the powerplay, picking the wicket of Ryan Rickelton. He got dismissed on a quick length around off where he hit it flat nd Urvil Patel picked the catch at Deep backward square leg.

With Naman Dhir and Suryakumar Yadav are aiming to forge a partnership, Ramakrishna Ghosh picked the wicket of Suryakumar Yadav for 21 runs on a short delivery. Ghosh got his maiden IPL wicket after Dewald Brevis took a easy catch as Mumbai Indians lost three wickets for 99 runs.
