After worshiping Goddess Kali, the BJP president said, 'I congratulate the people of West Bengal and all the other states where elections were held. I have come here to worship at the feet of Maa Kali for the victory over the land of Maa Kali and Maa Kamakhya. I believe that the culture and heritage of West Bengal can be taken forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. I wish that there should be peace and prosperity in all the states.

There is a Yatri Niwas in the temple premises, which is being run as a charitable Dharamshala, in which one can stay by donating a very small amount of money. Many devotees take advantage of this facility. The Yatri Niwas has about 30 double bed rooms, each of which has the facility of attached bathroom. There is provision for coolers in the rooms during summers. Besides, there is also a canteen where food is available.
