New Delhi: Delhi-NCR residents experienced short-term relief from the intense heat after another round of rain and thunderstorms hit parts of the region on Tuesday, May 5. Clouds have shrouded the national capital since Tuesday afternoon. At the same time, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for several parts of the region to witness thunderstorms, gusty winds, and possible hailstorms.
The AQI of the national capital has experienced a significant improvement in the Air Quality Index (AQI) as it stood at 69 in the early hours of the day, and with the weather’s sudden change, it is likely to go down further.
