Microsoft has announced the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in May 2026. And it's shaping up to be an incredible month of new releases, with hotly-anticipated racing sequel Forza Horizon 6 headlining the games line-up. Forza Horizon 6 has a May 19 release date for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Forza Horizon 6 will come to Xbox Game Pass Premium within the next 12 months, although an exact date is yet to be revealed. Of course, there are lots of additional games joining the service before May 19, beginning with four games today.

Games joining the service on May 6 include Ben 10 Power Trip for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass, alongside Descenders Next, Wheel World, Wildgate and Soulslike Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Next up is the day-one launch of narrative adventure game Mixtape, which has a May 7 release date for Premium, Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Mixtape is said to draw inspiration from 90s coming of age movies. It uses music to help tell a bittersweet tale about the highs and lows of adolescence.

Another day-one launch joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on May 11, as cozy adventure Outbound joins the service.

Microsoft explains more: "Explore a colourful world and build your own cozy home on wheels.

"Craft workstations, and source energy from the sun, wind, or water. Upgrade and customise your vehicle, grow crops, and live sustainably off-grid with up to four players."

Three more games will be added to Xbox Game Pass on May 12, including Black Jacket, Call of the Elder Gods and Elite Dangerous.

Xbox Game Pass Premium subscribers will be pleased to hear that Doom The Dark Ages joins the mid-tier level on May 14.

Serving as a prequel to Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal, the Doom The Dark Ages features the same brutal gunplay and gory action as previous entries, but with a dark fantasy setting.

The excitement continues on May 14, when Subnautica 2 gets an early access release for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

An underwater survival sim set on an alien planet, Subnautica 2 is one of the most wishlisted games on Steam, so expect plenty of people to check this out when it joins Game Pass later this month.
