Krushi Mitra Yojana | Rural India still faces job shortages and money woes. There is still no solid source of income in rural areas. Even today people are in financial trouble. The proportion is especially high among the youth. In such a situation, Maharashtra government has taken a big decision for the youth of rural areas as a solution to this. Government’s Krishi Mitra scheme has been launched. The main objective of the scheme is to provide an income stream to the youth, while helping families dependent on agriculture.

Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharne has announced this plan in a press conference held in Pune. According to this scheme, modern agricultural technology will now be brought directly to the farmers through the village youth. That is, ‘Krishi Mitra’ will become an important link between the farmers and the government.

Under this scheme, as many as 11,587 youth will be selected across the state. These youths will work in their villages and inform farmers about new cropping methods, fertilizer management, water use and government schemes. This will help in making agriculture more profitable. Krushi Mitra Yojana

The most important thing is that the youth selected for this job will be paid a salary of Rs 18,000 per annum. This stipend will be credited to their account every 3 months. That is, it can be a steady income opportunity for young people who have little education but want to do something.

There are some simple conditions to participate in this scheme. Applicants should be below 40 years of age, have completed at least 10th or 12th, have good communication skills and be able to use social media. This scheme has also brought a great opportunity for women as 30% of the total seats have been reserved for women. Therefore, the way for women in rural areas to get employment and economic self-reliance has also been opened.

This scheme is likely to start from June 1, and the selection process will be implemented at the district level. Therefore, the aspirants are advised to continue their preparation.
