The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for Paper 2 of Session 2 of JEE Main 2026. This time, students from Kerala and Uttar Pradesh have dominated the examination results. Candidates can check their scores by visiting the official JEE Main portal. To view their results, applicants are required to enter essential details such as their application number and date of birth. Along with the scorecards, the NTA has also released the list of toppers and participation statistics.

In the examination results, students have delivered stellar performances in both Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and Paper 2B (B.Planning). In Paper 2A, Meera Krishna R.S. and Suryathejas S. from Kerala topped the nation by securing a 100th percentile score. Similarly, in Paper 2B, Gouri Shankar V. from Kerala and Sarthak Agarwal from Uttar Pradesh proved their mettle by achieving a 100th percentile score. Apart from these toppers, students from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana have also secured spots within the top 10.

Who are the toppers of Paper 2A?
Kerala's dominance was clearly evident in the Architecture paper. Following Meera Krishna and Suryathejas, Sushilanarayanan S. from Tamil Nadu secured the third position with a percentile score of 99.997. Anshita Suresh from Karnataka and Nivandathi Venkatesh from Tamil Nadu also secured spots within the top five. Parth Thakur from Himachal Pradesh and Sarah Shakeel from Maharashtra also achieved excellent scores.

Who emerged victorious in Paper 2B?

In the Planning paper, Sarthak Agarwal brought laurels to Uttar Pradesh. Sharing the top spot with him was Gouri Shankar from Kerala. Arnav Shukla from Rajasthan secured the third position with a percentile score of 99.995. Yuvraj Singh Sandhu from Jharkhand and Soham Sharma from Karnataka also secured spots within the top five.

According to the statistics released by the NTA, a total of 1,00,913 candidates registered for Paper 2 this year. These included 51,601 male and 49,312 female candidates. However, only 71,423 candidates actually appeared for the examination.
Interestingly, among those who took the exam, the number of women was slightly higher than that of men. A total of 35,892 women and 35,531 men marked their attendance. In the B.Arch category, 38,914 students took the exam, while in B.Planning, this figure stood at 15,654.
