People’s expectations are also changing, especially regarding subjects like patriotism. Amidst this changing trend, actor Akshay Oberoi is bringing his upcoming film ‘Two Zero One Four-2014’. In this film he has tried to show a new form of patriotism.

Akshay Oberoi said, “In today’s era, a big change is being seen in films. People are now not just attracted towards trends, but towards such stories which make them feel their identity, belonging and pride. The audience is not just influenced by loud patriotic slogans, but they like stories which are true and connected to the heart.”

Talking about his film ‘Two Zero One Four-2014’, Akshay said, “The most special thing about this project is that patriotism is shown not as a slogan but as an emotion. In the film, this emotion comes out through decisions, struggles and situations. Patriotism is naturally linked in the story.”

Akshay said, “This film reflects a particular time and thinking, which is largely to today’s social and cultural environment. The audience will be able to easily connect with this story, because the situations and emotions shown in it seem quite realistic.”

He further added, “If it is presented in the right way, it can have a very powerful impact. It unites people and also makes them think. I am hopeful that this film will be able to strike the right balance between emotions, truth and thinking and will find a place in the hearts of the audience.”

He further said, “Audiences prefer films that respect their understanding and emotions. In today’s time, the way of storytelling has become more sensitive and deeper than before.” Akshay Oberoi will soon be seen in Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘King’, which is being directed by Siddharth Anand.
