CBSE 12th Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the results for the Class 12 Board Examinations 2026 very soon. CBSE Controller of Examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj, has stated that the result preparation process is proceeding according to schedule, and the results will be declared shortly. He also refuted reports regarding technical glitches in the evaluation process, terming them incorrect. What Marks Are Required to Pass?
According to CBSE regulations, to pass Class 12, students must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject. In subjects where a practical examination is applicable, it is mandatory to pass separately in both the theory and practical components. Furthermore, securing a grade higher than 'E' in all subjects is compulsory. Students who fail to pass in one or two subjects will be allowed to appear for a compartment examination.
