Ingredients for making Mango Custard (Mango Custard Ingredients)

  • Full Cream Milk- 500 ml
  • Sugar- as per taste
  • Ripe mango – pitted and mango pulp – 1 cup
  • Custard powder- 2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped mango pieces – to serve
  • Dry Fruits- Cashews, Almonds and Pistachios

Step-by-step recipe for making Mango Custard

  • First of all you have to take milk in a big and heavy vessel. Now boil it on low flame. After the milk comes to a boil, add sugar to it and stir slowly. By doing this the sugar will dissolve completely.
  • To prepare custard powder, pour some cold milk in a bowl and mix custard powder in it and prepare the solution.
  • Now slowly pour this prepared custard mixture into the boiling milk and keep stirring. After this, cook the milk on low flame for 3 to 4 minutes. As soon as the custard starts mixing with the milk, it will become thick. Now turn off the gas and let it cool completely.
  • Let the custard cool slightly. Now after this add mango pulp to it. Adding mango pulp to very hot custard will spoil the taste of both. After this, beat well and let it mix. It will be ready when the pulp and custard become uniform.
  • Now you have to keep the custard in the refrigerator to cool for at least 4 hours. Custard is eaten absolutely cold.

Custard Serving Suggestions

  1. When the custard cools down, take it out.
  2. Now put custard in small serving bowls.
  3. Place dry-fruit cuttings, cherries and small pieces of mango on top. The more attractive and colorful it appears to children, the more enthusiastically they will eat it.
