The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the provisional answer key for the Home Guard Recruitment Examination 2026. Candidates who appeared for the written examination held on April 25, 26, and 27 can now visit the official website to view their answer keys and assess their probable scores. Additionally, a facility has been provided for candidates to register objections if they have any doubts regarding a specific question or answer. This objection window opened on May 7 and will remain active until midnight on May 10, 2026.
The Recruitment Board has clarified that candidates must log in to the website to view the answer key. To do so, they will require their Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Question Booklet Number. After logging in, candidates can view the answer key corresponding to their specific exam shift and paper set. This will facilitate the easy cross-checking of their correct and incorrect answers.
How to File an Objection
If a candidate believes that the provided answer to a question is incorrect, or that there is an error in the given options, they may file an objection accompanied by supporting evidence. A separate portal has been made available for this purpose, where candidates can log in and register their objections against specific questions. The Board has explicitly stated that only objections submitted with valid proof will be considered. No objections will be accepted after the stipulated deadline has passed.
When Was the Examination Held?
Conducted under the Home Guard Enrollment-2025 initiative, this written examination was held on April 25, 26, and 27, 2026. On all three days, the examination was conducted in two shifts. A large number of candidates appeared for the exam at various centers across the state. Strict security measures were implemented to ensure both safety and transparency throughout the examination process.
What to Do in Case of Issues?
Some candidates may encounter technical difficulties while submitting objections online. In such instances, the Recruitment Board has provided a helpline and email facility for assistance. Candidates can seek help by sharing their name, registration number, roll number, details of the examination center, and information regarding the exam date and shift before May 10. The helpline number 08065075069 can be contacted, or an email can be sent to sampark@uppbpb.gov.in.
How Many Posts Will Be Filled?
Through this recruitment drive, a total of 41,424 Home Guard posts will be filled. After reviewing the objections received regarding the answer key, the Board will release the final answer key. The examination results will be prepared based on this final key, following which the list of selected candidates will be published.
