Noida Airport Ticket Booking: There is great news for those eagerly awaiting the opportunity to fly from Noida International Airport. Ticket bookings for Jewar Airport have officially commenced. Commercial flight operations from the airport are set to officially begin next month, on June 15. IndiGo Airlines will be the first carrier to launch flights from this airport. According to the airport management, IndiGo has been designated as the "launch carrier" under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2023. Additionally, Akasa Air and Air India Express are also poised to commence flight operations from this facility.
Meanwhile, several international airlines from West Asia and Southeast Asia have also expressed interest in operating international flights from the airport. An airport spokesperson stated that, initially, the majority of flights will be domestic. As operations stabilize and become routine, international flights are expected to be introduced a few months later.
**IndiGo to Operate the First Flight**
Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) has confirmed that IndiGo—the country's largest airline—will be the first carrier to launch services from Jewar Airport. Under the agreement reached between the airport management and the airline, IndiGo will operate the inaugural flight from this facility. Initially, flights will be limited to select domestic routes, with the network gradually expanded over time.
**Facilities Available to Passengers**
Noida International Airport has successfully secured the necessary security-related clearance, known as the ASP (Aerodrome Security Programme) approval. Passengers utilizing this airport will benefit from state-of-the-art terminal facilities, streamlined operations, and multimodal connectivity options.
**Flight Schedule Released**
On Thursday, the schedule for the airport's very first flight was also officially announced. An IndiGo flight will arrive at Noida Airport from Lucknow and subsequently depart for Bengaluru. This flight is scheduled to arrive at 8:15 AM; after a brief five-minute layover at Noida Airport, it will depart for Bengaluru at 8:20 AM. Flight schedules for other cities across the country are also expected to be released shortly.
