BCCI issued an 8-page guideline to all 10 IPL franchises on the evening of Thursday, May 7, in which attention was drawn to incidents of violations of security and other protocols. The board made it clear that guests or relatives of players, support staff or team owners or any other person cannot go to their hotel rooms without explicit written permission.
