The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain with thunder and lightning in Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Sant Kabir Nagar, Azamgarh, Mau and Ballia districts.
The effect of weather can also be seen in rural and urban areas adjacent to these districts. Meteorologists say that people need to be alert due to the suddenly changing weather.
