John Lewis has unveiled a new addition to its membership programme this week. MyJL Beauty, a beauty enhancement to the My John Lewis membership, will benefit customers who regularly shop for beauty, skincare, and fragrances.

The brand says the new addition creates the "ultimate community" for members, delivering dedicated offers, exclusive products, VIP events, and expert-led beauty hacks directly to customers through their My John Lewis app - on top of all the usual My John Lewis benefits.

A new MyJL Beauty Edit Box will be available from late May and will be free for members who spend £200 or more on beauty items and swipe their My John Lewis card at checkout.

This curated box of John Lewis buyers' favourite products is worth a massive £240 and is loaded with the brand's "hero" items, including:

• Medik8 Daily Radiance Vitamin C C-Tetra Cream 50ml
• Elemis Pro Collagen Energising Marine Cleanser 30ml
• Laneige Bouncy & Firm Lip Treatment 12ml

Beyond this, members can unlock a vault of exclusive rewards, offers, and insider access. This will include personalised offers on luxury brands like La Mer, Liz Earle, Dolce & Gabbana, and Bobbi Brown

It will also include free samples and gifts. Customers can grab free online product samples from must-have brands, including Charlotte Tilbury, and score in-store pick-up rewards from icons like Chanel and Clarins.

There will also be VIP offers and exclusive beauty events for customers to attend.

Those who use the scheme will have the chance to "win your wishlist", which could see shoppers win their entire beauty wishlist, worth up to £500.

For customers who are not yet part of My John Lewis, they can access the full suite of benefits by signing up and becoming a member.

MyJL Beauty will appear in existing members' My John Lewis section of their app when they buy a beauty product and swipe their membership card.

Customers who have previously bought a beauty-related item will automatically have MyJL Beauty added to their membership.

John Lewis' 34 Beauty Halls are home to 540 specialist beauty counters, over 400 individual beauty services - covering everything from quick counter makeovers to in-depth consultations, and nearly 70 dedicated treatment rooms, which are private spaces for full, indulgent services.

In total, approximately 1,800 beauty specialists are on hand to help customers with their beauty, skincare, and fragrance needs.
