Bengaluru: Metro services on a section of the Purple Line will be temporarily suspended for two hours on May 10 due to maintenance work, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced.
According to the statement, services between Sri Balagangadharanatha Swamiji Station–Hosahalli and Cubbon Park Metro Station will remain suspended from 7 am to 9 am.
The maintenance work will be carried out on the stretch between Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, Majestic, and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Metro Station–Central College on the Purple Line.
However, metro services from terminal stations will begin as per the regular schedule at 7 am. Other lines, including Challaghatta–Vijayanagar, MG Road–Whitefield (Kadugodi), Madavara–Silk Institute, and RV Road–Bommasandra, will operate as usual during this period.
Normal services between Sri Balagangadharanatha Swamiji Station–Hosahalli and Cubbon Park, as well as the entire Purple Line, will resume from 9 am onwards.
BMRCL has advised commuters to take note of the temporary disruption and plan their travel accordingly.
