Balasore: A shocking incident has emerged from Balasore district in Odisha, where a simple love confession resulted in the tragic death of a young man. This incident, which occurred in the Simulia police jurisdiction, has sent shockwaves throughout the community.
Reports indicate that Subhash Sutar, a resident of Purushottampur Panchayat, proposed love to a girl from Birbhramapur village, which falls under the Kanchapada Panchayat, over the phone. When the girl's father, Bhagwan Kar, learned of this, the situation escalated dramatically.
It is alleged that Bhagwan Kar summoned Subhash to meet him and then forcibly took him to Birbhramapur village in a vehicle. What transpired next was both brutal and inhumane.
Brutal Beating Tied to a Pole
Subhash was reportedly tied to a pole at the Anganwadi center located within the Birbhramapur school premises. He was then mercilessly beaten, sustaining severe injuries that left him in critical condition.
Local residents, upon learning of the incident, intervened and managed to rescue Subhash, rushing him to Simulia Hospital. However, his condition continued to deteriorate, necessitating his transfer to Bhadrak Hospital.
Upon arrival at Bhadrak Hospital, doctors pronounced him dead. This incident has sparked a wave of anger and fear in the surrounding area.
Police Statement Released
Devaraj Jena, the officer in charge of Simulia police station, stated, "The deceased's brother-in-law filed a murder complaint this morning.
