The Panchkula police executed a late-night raid that revealed a shocking scene inside a cafe. Upon entering, officers discovered 12 girls and 48 boys engaged in illegal gambling activities. A total of 60 individuals were apprehended during this operation, and the police seized ₹3.69 lakh in cash. Additionally, 20 bottles of illicit liquor and 21 vehicles were confiscated.
This operation was a collaborative effort involving the Crime Branch and the Anti-Narcotics Cell. Authorities confirmed the arrest of 60 individuals, comprising 48 males and 12 females.
Police received a tip-off about the illegal gambling activities late at night. Following this information, a joint operation was carried out by the Crime Branch, Detective Staff, and the Anti-Narcotics Cell. The raid resulted in the recovery of ₹3.69 lakh in cash, 21 vehicles, and 20 bottles of illegal alcohol. Cases have also been registered against the manager and owner of the establishment where these illegal activities were taking place.
