Delhi: Gujarat Titans played an amazing game against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, May 9 and defeated them in all three departments – bowling, fielding and batting. After this spectacular victory, captain Shubman Gill also left no stone unturned and celebrated the victory on social media.
Right after registering a huge 77-run win against Rajasthan, Gill shared a photo with star spinner Rashid Khan. In this photo, both the players are seen celebrating the famous ‘Fingers-in-Ear’ by putting their fingers in their ears. During this, he also made fun of RR by writing a funny caption.

While posting the photo on social media, Gujarat captain Gill wrote in the caption, ‘Pink City, Blue Result. ‘Khamma Ghani.’
Through this caption, Gill took a light-hearted dig at Rajasthan Royals after defeating them in their own home.
Gill played match winning innings against RR
Yashasvi Jaiswal won the toss and decided to bowl first at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Batting first, Gujarat scored 229 runs after losing 4 wickets. For GT, the maximum runs came from Gill’s bat. After facing 44 balls, he played a brilliant inning of 84 runs with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes. He missed completing his century by just 16 runs.
GT reached second place in the points table
In the reply innings, the entire Rajasthan team gave up after scoring 152 runs in 16.3 overs. Rashid got maximum 4 wickets in Rajasthan’s innings, for which he was awarded the title of Player of the Match. This was Gujarat’s biggest win in terms of runs in IPL. With the help of this victory, GT has captured the second position in the points table with 14 points.
