LPG Cylinder Rates Today: As of May 13, prices for the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders in India remain stable, while the prices for 19 kg commercial cylinders continue to hover at the high levels reached after May 1.

LPG Cylinder Rates Today on May 13: Amidst the ongoing conflict between the US and Iran, and the persisting tensions in West Asia, concerns regarding supply remain. Despite this, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders in India have remained unchanged.

How much have prices risen so far?

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) last revised the price of the 14.2 kg cylinder on March 7, increasing it by ₹60. Since then, no further changes to the prices have been announced. Currently, a domestic LPG cylinder is selling for ₹912.50 in Mumbai.

However, the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders—primarily used in restaurants, eateries, and industries—have surged by ₹993 to reach ₹3,071.50. Notably, this marks the third price hike in recent months. This recent increase in prices has heightened concerns among restaurants and small businesses that rely heavily on commercial cooking gas.

There has been no change in domestic cooking gas prices today. The rates for some major cities are as follows:

In other categories, the price of the 5 kg 'Chhotu' cylinder starts at ₹400; however, in line with market rates, the price of the 5 kg FTL (Free Trade LPG) cylinder has recently risen to ₹810.50. Given the surge in crude oil prices in the international market, oil companies have signaled that they will soon revise the prices of domestic LPG and fuel.
