Emergency responders in Tulsa were called to the HF Sinclair refinery around 11 AM to tackle a significant fire, with striking footage capturing towering flames and dense black smoke emanating from the Oklahoma facility.
The Tulsa Fire Department reported that local fire crews, along with Berryhill firefighters, were on standby to provide support if needed. Fortunately, the refinery's internal fire brigade managed the situation effectively, allowing external emergency teams to return to their stations.
Footage from the incident depicted large flames near industrial storage tanks, with thick smoke rising into the atmosphere. A burned vehicle was also visible close to one of the tanks, while the refinery's fire suppression system seemed to be functioning during the emergency response. As of now, officials have not disclosed the cause of the fire, nor have they provided any updates regarding potential injuries.
