Everyone desires that wealth, happiness, and prosperity remain constant in their lives. However, despite hard work, money often fails to stay in hand, while unnecessary expenses continue to rise. In such a scenario, did you know that the wallet is considered a symbol of wealth and prosperity in our lives?

In fact, according to Astrology and Vastu Shastra, a wallet is not merely a place to store money; it also serves as an energy hub for the arrival and abundance of Goddess Lakshmi. People often complain that money comes in but does not stay; if you are experiencing the same issue, try keeping these specific items—considered "secrets"—inside your wallet, and it won't be long before your fortune begins to shine.

In a conversation with Pandit Deeplal Jaipuri, an astrologer from Ambala, he explained that a wallet's connection extends beyond just income; it is also linked to the positive and negative energies present in our surroundings. He asserts that a wallet is not merely a vessel for holding currency but is also regarded as a significant medium for attracting wealth.

He stated that, in accordance with scriptural and Vastu principles, placing certain auspicious items inside one's wallet can help one receive the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and lead to a strengthening of one's financial position.

Pandit Deeplal Jaipuri explains that, first and foremost, a *Peepal* (Sacred Fig) leaf is considered extremely potent. He noted that, according to religious beliefs, the *Peepal* tree serves as the abode of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. To utilize this remedy, take a clean *Peepal* leaf, purify it with *Gangajal* (holy water from the Ganges), and inscribe the sacred syllable 'Shreem' upon it using saffron or sandalwood paste. Allow it to dry, and then place it in a discreet compartment within your wallet. This practice is believed to attract wealth and enhance financial stability. He further mentioned that the second auspicious item is a *Kaudi* (cowrie shell) associated with Goddess Lakshmi. Since cowrie shells emerged during the *Samudra Manthan* (the Churning of the Ocean), they are considered a cherished symbol of Goddess Lakshmi.

It is believed that touching a white or yellow cowrie shell to the feet of Goddess Lakshmi before placing it in one's wallet helps alleviate financial distress. He added that these shells are also considered helpful in warding off negative energy; therefore, if a cowrie shell is unavailable, a silver coin bearing the images of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha may be kept in its place.

He revealed that the third remedy involves *Akshat*—specifically, twenty-one unbroken grains of rice. This is because wrapping them in a red cloth or red paper and keeping them in one's wallet is considered highly auspicious. According to astrology, rice symbolizes prosperity, while the color red represents energy and the auspicious planet Mars. This practice is believed to help curb unnecessary expenses and facilitate the accumulation of wealth. Furthermore, keeping a Gomati Chakra is considered highly auspicious for increasing wealth and attaining freedom from debt; similarly, carrying a small photograph of one's spiritual mentor (Guru) or a sacred symbol (such as 'Om' or the Swastika) is also deemed propitious.

Pandit Deeplal Jaipuri also advises that one should always keep one's wallet clean and organized. One should refrain from keeping torn currency notes, old bills, useless scraps of paper, or credit slips inside it. Such items are believed to foster financial disarray and amplify negativity. According to him, these simple remedies—when undertaken with faith and a positive mindset—can pave the way for financial balance and prosperity in life.
