Alia Bhatt is making India proud at Cannes 2026 and her first look has left fans excited for more. The diva’s first look from the French Riviera is giving major princess vibes, and fans cannot get enough of it. Dressed in a structured corset ball gown, Alia opted for minimal accessories, letting her elegant outfit do all the talking.

This is Alia Bhatt’s second outing at Cannes, and even this time, she is managing to impress everyone with her choice of attire. For her first day at the prestigious film festival, Alia picked up a green and blue gown, pairing it with a diamond stud. She tied her hair up in a bun and instantly reminded us of Cinderella. A nude-pink lip shade, soft shimmery eyeshadow, and a touch of blush perfectly rounded off her minimal summer look.

Earlier in the day, Alia was spotted reaching the film festival destination in a structured blazer paired with fitted cropped trousers from the label’s Spring 2026 collection. Alia’s capri pants style made us realise that the early 2000s fashion statement is back. She completed her look with accessories from Gucci, including the Jackie 1961 shoulder bag and round-frame sunglasses.

Many others, including Aishwarya Rai, Karan Johar, Tara Sutaria, Mouni Roy, and Ammy Virk, are also expected to attend the prestigious event. The film festival begins today, May 12, and will conclude on May 23. This year, Marathi cinema will also have a notable presence, with veteran stars Ashok Saraf and Nivedita Saraf expected to attend alongside Prajakta Mali and producer Kedar Joshi.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt is waiting for the release of Alpha. Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha features Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol and is slated for a July 10 release.
