Kollur Mookambika Temple: The Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple recorded an annual income of Rs 84,00,59,189.83 during the 2025-26 financial year, excluding deposits and savings. The revenue is around Rs 13 crore higher compared to the previous year.
According to temple authorities, the temple earned Rs 68,23,06,285.09 in 2023-24, with a net saving of Rs 26,59,12,715.81 and fixed deposits worth Rs 168,48,76,316.97.
In 2024-25, the temple recorded an income of Rs 71,93,37,864.66, with net savings of Rs 31,35,18,212.03 and fixed deposits of Rs 200,83,64,755.35.
For 2025-26, the temple reported net savings of Rs 32,75,67,386.84 and fixed deposits amounting to Rs 229,82,32,074.35.
Temple officials said the main sources of revenue include special offering services, hundi collections, choultry income and rent from buildings. They added that the temple has been witnessing steady growth in annual revenue, with 2025-26 recording the highest income so far.
Devotees also donate gold and silver as offerings to the temple. Contributions are further received for rituals such as Tulabhara, Chandika Yaga and Annadanam.
The temple guest house is also generating good income. Authorities said government approval has now been received for the construction of a new accommodation facility.
Temple Management Committee President Babu Shetty and Executive Officer Prashant Kumar Shetty said several programmes are being planned to improve facilities for devotees and support the overall development of the temple.
