Delhi:Thanks to the brilliant bowling of Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder, Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 82 runs in the 56th match of IPL 2026 on Tuesday, May 12. This is Gujarat’s 8th win in 12 matches. She has now reached the top of the points table with 16 points. Gujarat has now become a strong contender to finish in the top-2 on the points table.
Gujarat reached fighting total with half centuries of Sudarshan-Sundar
Thanks to the brilliant half-centuries of Sai Sudarshan and Washington Sundar, Sunrisers Hyderabad had given the target of 169 runs to Gujarat Titans. Sudarshan played an inning of 61 runs in 44 balls. In this innings he hit 5 fours and two sixes. Whereas Sundar scored 50 runs in 33 balls. Sundar hit seven fours and one six in this innings. Nishant Sindhu contributed 22 runs in 14 balls. Due to which Gujarat was able to reach the score of 168 after losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Prafulla Hinge bowled brilliantly for Hyderabad. Hinge took two wickets for just 17 runs. Saqib Hussain also got two successes.

Apart from this, he also took the wicket of Shivang Kumar. Holder took three wickets for 20 runs in four overs. Apart from Rabada-Holder, Prasidh Krishna took two wickets. Siraj and Rashid Khan got one success each. Rabada was given the Player of the Match award for his excellent bowling.
